Read All ReviewsPaul Fernandez was a great deal of help to us in buying a Kia Carnival. Not many of these vehicles produced so far and this one happened to be close to us at a VW dealer. Didn’t matter that it’s not his specialty, he knew the vehicle top to bottom and helped us learn all the features. He made our deal happen in under 3 hours financing and all. Immediate responses and well done video/photo documentation to help us feel comfortable to travel and get it. Kept his cool through a major hiccup where we were accidentally told the vehicle was sold and were quite upset. Paul was apologetic and assured us we would still get our beautiful car! This guy was honest, this guy went above and beyond to get everything done so we could get exactly the financing we needed. We call him Cool Guy Paul around here now and you should too.
Paul was great to work with. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. The process went very smoothly and quickly. I would refer Paul to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle and will definitely be using Paul in the future.

We went to Volkswagen wanting to learn more about their vehicles and we had the opportunity to work with Travis. Travis was knowledgeable in all areas, and answered all questions and took away any concerns that we had during our visit.
Warning long read! If you purchase from or use VW Chapman service department be warned! I have a 2014 VW Passat TDI. It is a diesel vehicle that was part of the dieselgate scandal. Long story short turbo failed this past December. Under Extended Emissions Warranty it was covered and replaced at no charge to me. Shortly after the repair I replaced the timing belt components. The new timing tensioner I installed was faulty and failed. This was to no fault of VW Chapman. When having the cylinder head removed to inspect for damage it was discovered that two pistons were damaged due to metal turbo pieces entering the combustion chamber from turbo failure. This was not discovered by VW Chapman during the turbo/DPF replacement. When I brought it to thier attention they blamed the damage on the timing tensioner failure. I have two well respected VW independent mechanics say otherwise. I provided proof that the damage from the timing tensioner failure did not cause the pitting of the pistons. They had a tech from their service department examine the cylinder head and pictures of the damaged pistons. He said it was highly unlikely that damage was due to the turbo failure but not impossible. A deflection on thier part. They were unwilling to help me. I was not asking for anything for free. I only wanted to have them source another cylinder head and hopefully give me a discount on the purchase. But I did want them to replace the two damaged pistons because that was caused by the turbo failure and would be covered under the Extended Emissions Warranty. No help on thier part. Even more shocking was the integrity of thier warranty work. They did not replace very important one time use subframe stretch bolts but yet on the service receipt it was noted as replaced. I discovered the bolts were not replaced because the they forgot to put the skid plate back on the car after the turbo and DPF Filter was replaced. I put the car on ramps, crawled under the car and discovered these same bolts being re-used. It clearly states in any service manual (Bentley, Mitchell, erWin) to always replace the subframe bolts. When I brought this to thier attention the car was immediately taken back and bolts replaced. If these bolts would have come loose or sheared off the car would have lost steering and the result could have been catastrophic. My family's safety was compromised! Very reckless to say the least. I currently own three VW's and from this point forward will never purchase a VW again. Sorry for the long rant but please beware of the shady services provided by the Chapman VW service department.

Mr Hungerford was very outgoing and worked with me on what vehicle would best fit my needs. He explained all the optional packages in complete detail. When I came in to pick up my Tiguan, he showed me how to connect my cell phone to the onboard bluetooth devices.
Travis was very professional we told him what we wanted and he guided us every step of the way from start to finish. I loved the fact that he didn’t push us into anything he definitely puts the customer first. We left feeling like 1 we’d made a friend and excited about our purchase. We will recommend him and Chapman if anyone is looking to purchase!

This was a GREAT experience from start to finish. I will definitely be back for all my needs!
My car had significant electrical damage from rats chewing on wires, which unfortunately for me in the waiting room took quite a few hours to diagnose. However, once diagnosed, the fix was clear (and expensive). Turned out my insurance would cover it but all Chapman insurance claims have to go through Chapman Collision, at a separate facility and location. Things got complicated when it became clear Collision couldn't do the electrical work. Long story short, both shops did all that was required to shuffle the car and the paperwork and the rental car to ensure that finally, 2 weeks later, I got my car back all fixed and much cleaner than when I brought it in.
Veterans helping veterans is the name of the game. Travis Hungerford, a veteran, I a veteran, has sold me two vehicles within a year. I couldn’t ask for better service and would recommend Travis at Chapman Volkswagen to anyone, especially our veterans or troops. Travis was a true hero when it came to this credit journey. This was my first time buy at a dealership and I have had such a hard time finding a car that would be beneficial for me and my future endeavors. Travis worked to make sure that I was fully covered and taken care of, so I never had to worry about transportation ever again. I purchased a VW Jetta 2019, and I honestly couldn't be happier. We made a plan to further my credit building and get me set up so I can get a car sooner than later for 0$ down no less! I can't recommend Travis enough for this, and I am going to let everyone know that I was able to get in this super nice car because of him.
